  • About Us

    About Us

Greater Harvest Full Gospel Baptist Church opened its doors on September 7, 2003 at 1203-A Goshen St., Oxford, NC. God blessed us and we built a new church at 5110 Antioch Rd., Oxford, NC. Our first service in the new sanctuary was December 27, 2009.

    OUR MISSION STATEMENT

TO WORSHIP is to be aware of and respond favorably to the presence of God. Worshiping God is the church’s first purpose. Worship comes before service.

TO EDUCATE is to teach your congregation what God has done for them through Jesus Christ, and train believers to fulfill all the functions of the church.

TO MINISTER is to follow the example of Jesus in caring for those who have physical and spirituals needs. This includes ministering to the sick, hungry, lonely and disturbed.

TO WITNESS is to share the gospel. We are to tell the whole world of Jesus Christ coming, His death on the cross, His resurrection, and His promise to return.

TO APPLY means to obey the basic Christian principles in all areas of everyday life. We are to become more like Jesus in our thoughts, feelings and actions. This process begins when a person is born again and continues the rest of your life.

    OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose here at Greater Harvest Full Gospel Baptist Church is to love God with all our heart, mind and soul. Love our neighbors as ourselves. We want to be a church that knows how to show love to one another. We want to be a church that helps others in need especially God’s chosen people, the Jews. We want to be a church that comes together to worship God in spirit and truth.

OUR MOTTO: “COME AND SEE---WHAT THE LORD IS DOING”

  • About The Book

    About The Book

About The book Pastor Charlene Evans Morton has been ostracized, criticized, scandalized and crucified—not on the cross. Jesus did that, and it is finished. But she has been crucified in public, for her heart’s desire to stand on the Word of God.

She has been persecuted, but she’s still standing for the Lord. Many are the afflictions of the righteous. What an honor to stand for Jesus, when He has stood for me so many times.

The response to the book has been wonderful. So many have said that they could relate to the stories and they were blessed when they read them, knowing that they were not the only one who experience pain and tragedy.

    You laugh, cry and learn.

    TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
